About Our Pastor

Andrew J. Papson III was born and raised on the east coast, New York and New Jersey.

Brother Andy accepted the Lord in 1980 after fourteen and a half years service in the U.S. Army.

The place of his new birth was at Eastside Baptist Church Copperas Cove, Texas.

Brother Papson was called into the gospel ministry while a member of Eastside.He attended

Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. Brother Andy was ordained on the 15th February 1987

at Oakallla Baptist Church, Oakalla, Texas. Brother Andy has been Pastor of Oak Hills Baptist Church

since August 1992.
